1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LessonDeck, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

LessonDeck provides AI-powered lesson plan generation for K-12 teachers. The service includes AI-generated lesson plans, a personal lesson library, and export functionality. Plans are generated using artificial intelligence and should be reviewed by the teacher before classroom use.

3. Intellectual Property

Lesson plans generated by LessonDeck are the property of LessonDeck and are licensed to you for personal classroom use only. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or republish generated lesson plans
  • Upload generated content to third-party marketplaces (including Teachers Pay Teachers)
  • Use generated content for commercial purposes outside your classroom
  • Claim AI-generated content as entirely your own original work for publication

4. Subscriptions and Billing

LessonDeck offers subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Burst packs are one-time purchases that do not expire. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase for annual plans if fewer than 5 lesson plans have been generated.

5. Usage Limits

Each subscription tier includes a monthly plan generation limit. Plans reset on the 1st of each month and do not roll over. Burst packs provide additional plans that do not expire. Abuse of the service (automated generation, API scraping, etc.) may result in account termination.

6. Disclaimer

LessonDeck provides AI-generated content as a teaching aid. All lesson plans should be reviewed and adapted by a qualified teacher before classroom use. LessonDeck is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content for any specific classroom context.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. LessonDeck reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your lesson plan data will be deleted within 30 days.
